Firm History
Although the firm's present name did not come about until 2008, its foundation began more than 30 years ago.
Tom Womble graduated from law school in 1971. The early his legal career was spent with a prestigious nationally and internationally recognized firm based in Houston.
Tom Womble founded what is now known as Womble Howell & Croyle in 1986, building the practice on years of precedent-setting courtroom successes.
Brad Howell became part of the practice in 1999. He was joined by Bob Croyle in 2001.
The firm has always been headquartered in downtown Houston. It now offices in its own building just west of the downtown business district.
